Remembering a Rebel – Harry Leslie Smith Memorial

The Broadbent Institute is proud of its relationship with Harry Leslie Smith – a remarkable advocate for society’s most marginalized. In 2015, the Institute was honoured to host Harry on his national Stand Up for Progress Tour where he urged future generations not to make the same mistakes that cost his generation so much.

Harry spent the last years of his life tirelessly fighting for a more just and equal society – standing up for refugees and working to eliminate poverty. On November 28th, the world sadly lost its oldest rebel

The Broadbent Institute would like to invite you to a celebration of Harry’s life and legacy. This is a free event and light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP below.

In cooperation with Harry’s family, this will be an evening full of laughter and an opportunity for us all to re-commit ourselves to Harry’s ideals and work.
